COMMISSION A WATERCOLOUR PORTRAIT
This is where you can place your order for Claire to paint a personal painting of your own, for a gift or for yourself.
Your order is for one portrait of the size you choose from the drop down, the painting is of one subject but the subject can be anything, a pet, loved one or an object.
The most import thing to remember is to find a VERY VERY CLEAR photograph of your subject for your portrait, you can send more than one if you please, Claire will contact you by email for you to send over your photographs. (Claire reserves the right to refuse portrait painting if photographs are unclear, blurred, too far away, too dark or cloudy as she can only paint what she can see).
Once you have added the size of the picture you require to your cart you will be asked to fill in a little information, it will take about 5 minutes.

8” X 8” SQUARE £95.00
8” X 11.5” A4 £125.00
11.5” X 16.5” A3 £250.00
ALL PORTRAITS WILL BE FRAMED UNLESS REQUESTED, FRAMING IS FREE OF CHARGE.
Leave plenty of time for your portrait to be painted, you will be placed in a queue when you order your portrait, depending on the size of your painting your wait time could be anything between 2 and 6 weeks, Claire will let you know when you send in your photograph.
YOU CAN PAY EITHER 50% DEPOSIT OR THE FULL AMOUNT (50% OF YOUR PAYMENT WILL ALWAYS BE A NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT) THE BALANCE OF THE FULL PAYMENT WILL HAVE TO BE PAID BEFORE YOU PORTRAIT IS POSTED AND ONCE YOU HAVE GIVEN CONFIRMATION THAT YOU ARE HAPPY WITH THE PAINTING. (If you request not to see your art prior to delivery, it will be sealed when you receive the work and no further changes can be made)

NOTE: The watercolour painting is waxed for some protection before framing. This is original artwork derived and adapted from reference photographs provided by you, the customer.
To ensure your art always remains in good condition there are a few simple steps you can take.
Handle your art as little as possible to avoid getting contact oils onto the paper (if unframed)
Always use a mount when framing (acid – free matting with UV glass is perfect)
Do not place your picture in direct sunlight to avoid fading
Keep your art in a cool dry place
Always ensure you use a strong enough hook for picture hanging
